Pro Tips from My Journey

Progressive Overload: I track every workout in a spreadsheet, aiming to add 1 rep or 2.5lbs weight every 2 weeks.

Time Under Tension: Slow the eccentric (lowering) phase to 3 seconds. This transformed my muscle growth.

Recovery Protocol:

  • 7-8 hours sleep non-negotiable
  • 120g+ protein daily
  • Foam rolling 10 min post-workout

Results Timeline

After 12 weeks following this routine:

  • Gained 8 lbs lean muscle
  • Lost 3% body fat
  • Energy levels through the roof
  • No gym membership needed

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Skipping warm-up - 5 minutes of dynamic stretching prevents injuries ❌ Ego lifting - Form over weight, always ❌ Inconsistency - 3x/week beats perfect 6x/week plan you can’t sustain

Sample Weekly Schedule for Tech Professionals

Monday: 6:30 AM - Upper Body (before standup)
Tuesday: Evening - Lower Body
Wednesday: Lunch break - HIIT (20 min)
Thursday: 6:30 AM - Upper Body

The Mindset Shift

Fitness isn’t about having time - it’s about making time. These 30-minute sessions have become my non-negotiable meetings with myself.

“The body you want is built in the kitchen and carved in the gym, but forged in your mind.”
